Still River Bridge

This project represents a high tech application to a nature trail system. The bridge spans 120 feet with flood control features and a dynamic form creating a landmark for a Greenway. Bridge aesthetic consists of self-rusting steel with intricate railing system constructed within river bed to afford viewing spaces for handicapped. The Award wining design used pivoting arches from river bank piers eliminating crane services during the erection to mitigate the wetland encroachments.
